Ernie was the most loving father; the most cherished son & the most caring brother. He was the most honorable uncle, the most respected cousin and above all, the most loyal friend anyone could have the honor to know.
Ernie was survived by his 3 children (Angel, Ernie and Nevaeh), as well as by all of their family and friends.
Ernie will always hold a very special spot in our hearts, Ernie passed away 16 days after his 31st birthday. Ernie loved to laugh, goof around and help those in need. He loved to coach his baseball team and it was important for him to provide the best for his children. He loved his family , he made sure his children were kept in sports, He loved and enjoyed life. Ernies life and spirit touched almost all he met. Ernie loved to go fishing with his boys and loved spending quality time with them. No matter what happened in life Ernie knew how to make our gray skies blue, was loved, admired, and cherished far beyond the scope of my knowledge of him. The outpouring of support and sheer volume of people who came to honor and remember Ernie at his funeral was overwhelming. Although we tried to share a glimpse in Ernie's world with a memorial video and the sharing of photos, it was clear that we would barely scratch the surface of a life full of interesting and impactful moments, cherished memories, and loving friends.
It is my hope that many, many people will contribute to this site. I know that Ernie will live forever in our hearts and memories, and my goal is to keep him close to the surface; to continually celebrate him, our Mighty Ernie.
He is home now with god, we will miss him greatly everyday of our lives, please do not be scared to leave any memory you might might of shared with him . thank you all for your prayers!
